Thanks for the nice letter which you wrote to me. I am very sorry to hear your College and others are quarantined, but I guess they know what they are doing[.] It [is] best to be on the safe side for they say it [is] pretty bad in New York & Phila. and some other places, dont [sic] know if their [sic] is any hear [sic] or not, but their [sic] is a flu a going around hear [sic] the girl in our store had it the other week and was off for several days and still has the affect [sic] of it. Hope your cold is all gone take care of your self. Well I guess you are glad Mountain day is over. It [is] getting to[o] cold to do those things know [sic]. I am glad to hear you are taking parts in plays for I think you will make out all right just dont [sic] stick to scenery all the time if you do that they will alway[s] look for you to do it, let some one else take it for a while, of course you must know what to do but think over it. Glad you like your room and dorm and your house mother is she young as the one you had last year. I bake[d] you a cake and they sent it Monday & Tuesday and when I bake again will send you sone [sic] sugar cakes will have to do it on a Sunday for through the week dont [sic] have much time. But will see you get some. Will soon have to go get ready for work know [sic]. It is raining hear [sic] to-day[.] Keep well. I say good-by and God bless you
