A Letter Written on Apr 10, 1957

Wednesday morning

Dear Patty:-

Well I hope you are all settled down by know [sic]. Mother told me you where [sic] in New York last week end, for a lighting of a play hope you folk[s] made out O.K. heard you made out very well in Yale (good). Have not read the letter witch [sic] you sent mother the beging [sic] of the week. Hope you got the cake alright and it was not to[o] stale[.] It take[s] so long for thing[s] to go like that by the time you get it it [is] pretty hard. Will try and send you something for Easter will see it get[s] off in time so you get it before Easter. Well the sun is out this morning, but it seams [sic] as if it [is] on the chilly side. Can't warm up right yet. But when it comes I guess we will have it right. But the thing[s] are coming out. I guess they are starting up their [sic] too. Kim was up Sunday and your mother had an awfull [sic] time she was scared too [sic] death and all day she seamed [sic] scared. Well it [is] 10'clock [sic] and I have soon [to] get ready for work. So I will say good by for this time & may God bless you.
