A Letter Written on Oct 29, 1957

YORK, PENNA.

Tuesday morning.

Dear Patty:-

Well I guess you think I have forgotten you, but I have not. Just did not write last week so I thought I better get after it before this week fly [sic] by. I did not work yesterday. (Monday) So I had some sewing to do for a lady so I work[ed] all day at it so I got it done which was hanging for a week or so. But cant [sic] get mine done for so how. [sic] But I guess I will get [it done if I] can get up some day. Well it is getting very cold here and I guess it [is] getting cold up their [sic], they say some parts had some snow. Well we can expect it. Did you get your flu injection yet. I call[ed] the Dr. to give it to me and he said as soon as he got it in he would call me, have not heard from him yet. It [is] very bad at some places. Well the leaves are falling very fast. Jane Rhodes is moving so Mother & Dad where [sic] out Sunday and got some things from then. [sic] I got he[r] electric mixer I hope it works alright. So I will do away with hand mixing. Did you have your play yet and what part did you take I think you will make good in any part you take for you put all you have in any think [sic] you do. So you do not have to be afraid. Dad [has] been very busy building a dark room in the celer [sic], and fixing it up. Well I guess this is all for know [sic] I say good-bye and may God bless you.
