Dear Patty:

Well hear [sic] is a nother [sic] week pass. [sic] I am writing this before I go to the unemployment office; I am going up with your Dad have not been their [sic] for a couple of weeks and he said I should go up again, to reopen my claim. I had been making the full sum. Well we are starting out with a cloudy & fugy [sic] day, but they say the sun is to shine Dad was priting [sic] pictures for you last night[.] Dont [sic] know if he is going to mail them this morning or not. Mr. Morris across the street from me Died [sic] last Thur. and was burried [sic] on Sat. Bert spangler [sic] is very ill too[.] Dont [sic] know if he will pull threw [sic] or not they dont [sic] give much hopes for him[.]

Well know is [sic] all your things coming along you did not let me know what you want me to bake you. You better say or you might get some you don't want. Kim is some Kittie she is getting smarter every day but still so afraid to go out, dont [sic] know what she will do this summer when it [is] so hot. I have another shirt for you I guess you have enough though.

Well all went over to Harrisburg to howard Josents [sic] restaurant on Sunday[.] Your Grandmother Feiser took us for dinner and we all where [sic] so full, it was a lovely day too. Well I guess this is all I will have to get ready to go take care of your self and May God bless you

Yours truly
