A Letter Written around Feb 2, 1958

[This first note was written inside the Valentine greeting card.]

I just mailed off your package today, special handling. I hope you get it in time for 15th. I had an argument with the woman in the sub-stations at Morris Drug about what zone you're in. So I don't know if it will hold up the package or not. Let me know.

[This second note was on a separate sheet of paper tucked into the Valentine greeting card.]

Dear Pat:

Here are some pants. Try on the pair that is not wrapped and if they fit okay if not send them home again and I'll get the large size. They don't come in sizes 6-7 anymore, only S-M-L. I hope you enjoy the earrings for your valentine gift[.] They're not what I wanted to give you for valentine's day but I couldn't get what I wanted.

Happy Valentine's Day,
Mother.
