A Letter Written on Feb 6, 1955

Dear Patty

Was glad to hear from you I thought maby [sic] something had happen[ed] to you was glad to hear you had a nice boyfriend and enjoyed going out with him we[ll] take care of your self and do what [is] right and the right one will come along. Sorry you were disappointed when you got the wrong cake. I will try and make you a cream chocolate cake some day, but I hope you like it any way look out for something on Valentine. Dad wrote to you to-day too. I wont [sic] be able to see [sic] you a dollar this time but will the next time. Well we have had snow and cold weather hear [sic] too. Well dress warm and dont [sic] get a cold the viaris [sic - virus] is going around here the schools have been closed.

No I did not see Phil['s] car his dad did not say he had a new one but I guess he has to have a larger one. Well it [is] getting late So I guess I close for this time So I say good night and may God bless you.
