Monday eve
Dear Patty:
As I did not get to write you yesterday. As my day [was] all taken up doing little hear [sic] a little their [sic] the time flies. We certainly are having some rain and the grass is growing so fast but not much sunshine or warm but I guess we will have our share when it startin [sic] right Mother & Bertie are washing I just got done some iorning. [sic] And when I get this done I want to sew a little. Well I guess you can't hardy [sic] wait till you see Mother & Dad. Mother ask[ed] me to go along to-night but we are awfull [sic] busy just now every body want[s] their clothes for warm weather when it comes. I am awfull [sic] sorry would of like to come along but have to take care of my job. How was your dress and did you get a white one. Would of liked to of gotten you one. Well maby [sic] when you come home we can get to-gether How where [sic] the cakes I guess they got hard. Will send you a cake or two with Mother & dad now take care of yourself and dont [sic] work to[o] hard that you get sick again.
Well I guess my paper is getting all fill[ed] up So I have to say good by and may God bless you
