Friday Aft
Dear Pat:
We still haven't heard from you, whether you got the packages and if the dress and shoes fit, unless there's a letter at home now. It's getting pretty late, so I hope everything was okay.
It's been rainy around here all week. April has sure lived up to its name.
I got a permanent Tues night, so now my yellow hat looks like H. I guess I'll have to buy another black one to go with my outfit. We had a shower for Dorothy Leeper at class meeting Tues night, she's getting married next month. Gay Pritts got married last week, her picture was in the paper this week. I also got my glasses last night and having difficulty in getting used to them.
I mentioned to Grandma about going along - thinking that she wouldn't probably want to take off, but she just might want to come along. So maybe you better put an extra plate on for her. It might be more difficult for us to get two cabins instead of one. I hope you have nice weather. Is Judy's Mother & Dad coming - by the way we wrote them a thank you note right away but I don't know if they ever got it. Did Judy ever say. All the address we had was Woolworth St. & their last name. We didn't know Judy's dad or mother's first names.
I had off yesterday as I have to work this Sat. as it's the end of the month. We also have club at home. I am awful busy here, so I guess I'll have to close. I sure hope you let us know how the things fit. Everyone's okay here and I hope you're the same. See you soon, I hope
Mother
