A Letter Written on Nov 29, 1955

Tuesday

Dear Patty:

Arrived home at 12 P.M. last night. A little tired. We arrived in N.Y. around 11;00 and shopped until 6;30 last night. We got some christmas [sic] presents, plus a few things for myself. I sure like those stores better than Philly's. We missed our turn-off at Lancaster so had to come on to Harrisburg. The time is about the same difference. I hope you girls got settled and your papers written. Will write more later, just wanted to let you know we arrived safely. I'm very busy here at the office. Take care of yourself, see you in three weeks.

Love,
Mother
