A Letter Written on Mar 12, 1958

York, Penna.

Wednesday morning

Dear Patty:

Was very glad to get your letter yesterday morning. And hear from you. I know you are a very busy girl. But dont [sic] do to [sic] much that you get sick take care of your self. I done [sic] some of your washing last night was down to mother & Dad['s] for supper. So we will get it ready to send as soon as it [is] done the sweaters are not dry yet this morning, going to iorn [sic] waist this morning befor[e] I go to work. Well I guess it [is] getting a little warmer hear [sic] too. But we may have some snow yet. Never can tell. Mrs Hoover was buried yesterday morning, she had the same thing Dad had. You want to be carefull [sic], when you go to Yale the stage is different so you dont [sic] get hurt. Wish you lots of Luck. but do take care. Well it nice to have fathers day too, to have the fathers their [sic] to see how may come, some are too bashfull [sic] you know. Their [sic] is something about a man that the woman don't have, but it a good thing to get acquainted with them any way. Well it almost 9 o'clock so I have to hurry and get to my iorning [sic] and then get ready for work. So I say good-bye and do take care of yourself. And may God bless you.
