York, PennsylvaniaAttention: Personnel Manager
Gentlemen:
I am a Freshman student at Mount Holyoke College seeking employment for the summer vacation. Knowing that you employ cashiers at various locations in York I though[t] that you might need a vacation replacement for them.
I have had two years experience as Saturday cashier at the Gazette and Daily in York where I prepared bills for the carriers and received payment from the boys. This job gave me experience in handling cash and proving up the day's receipts.
I am sure that Mr. Harold Coffman, Office Manager at the Gazette, will testify as to my qualifications.
If there is any chance of my obtaining employment with your Company for the summer vacation, I would be happy to come in for an interview during my Spring Vacation period, March 25th to April 2nd. My home address is 133 North Findlay Street in York and my telephone number is 53613.
Thank you for considering my application.
Very truly yours,
Patricia A. Feiser
