Dear Patty
Will write to you now. Well I made you your cake to day. So I guess they will get it ready to night. So you will get it by Tuesday. Well I guess you have heard from Don by this time at least I hope so if you have not. Be very careful and think well. Well I guess you will be very busy this week and next and look forward to see you soon I have a cold now it [has] gone down in my throat.
Well hear [sic] it [is] Monday Morning and I am going to finish this before I go to work so I will have to hurry a little[.] Well it [is] pretty cold this morning, but no Snow or rain it [is] a beautiful day. So I guess we will have lots of folks in for we are going to have a big sale this week so Mr Sitter told us last week.
Well I guess your cake is on the way. Well I guess I have to bring this to an end for this time so I say good by and May God bless you
