Dear Susie Sweet,
I was all set for a trip to Troy tomorrow when I heard you can make it to the party.
Shiela [sic] got her letter today but I didn't get mine so I don't know where or when. When I get your letter tomorrow I'll send this off. I don't know if it will be smart to send it special delivery. Your family would love me if you heard the postman at the door 3:00 AM. I won't decide yet but regular mail ought to make it.
Our vacation started today! The snow canceled school (for the 1st time in 2 years) and I am so happy.
I'm all set for you, Susie Sweet, I've got the mistletoe hanging in my room right above the door! BEWARE!
There are many plans we can follow.
1. Have those people leave you off at Penn Station and you can take the Long Island Railroad to Rockville Centre.
2. You can go to Far Rockaway, and take a bus to Lynbrook. It leaves from across from the bus terminal at the library.*
No matter what you decide, call me when you arrive at Penn Station or that house. I'm not allowed to drive to Far Rockaway because of my junior liscense [sic], but the above plans are easy and will bring satisfactory results.

PS. If you have room to bring school books leave them home and bring ice skates. We skated today, I don't know how long our luck will last. 2 more trys [sic] before Xmas -
