Dear Sue Ellen,

This is the third letter I wrote you. The first one I wrote you was no good. The second one I thought I mailed before my day off. I'm not sure you got it. This might be the second letter the same.

Last week was parent's visiting weekend. You should hear what I told the parent's [sic] about their little darlings. You would not believe it. The first day we had regular activities. The second the parent participated in father-son, mother-daughter games. How was Larry's parent's visiting day. Was it a weekend.

Don't forget to say hello to your family for me!

You better give me your picture soon. My wallet needs some sharpening up.

Sunday was carnival. We had many boothes. [sic] Our bunk had shave the baloon. [sic] Other[s] were douse the louse (soak the counselor[)] marriage and divorce (I got married 20 times or so). Hammer nails in hardwood and so on.

We walk the girls home usually from the recreation hall to their bunks not more than 400 yards. Though it takes a long time.

My brother and I will be around in August 26 or 27 until the end of the month. We will stay longer or shorter depending on how much the place is. Tell me if you are going to be away then. If you are going to be away I will be disappointed but such is life[.]

How old are Sue's sisters?

I don't see why you like a name like Betsy when you have such a beautiful, bi-syllable, romantic name.

Refering [sic] to your letters last letter, my friends aren't in the habit of asking for kisses; It just comes natural. I will not tell you what kind of life I lead.

Love and kisses,
Andy.
