Hello my darling:
Well it won't be long now. Only four days and I'll be seeing [you] again. It seems almost too [good to] be true. I have everything [all] set. I am just waiting and hoping that the car will be done before Fri. If I have the car we [will] be able to have a lot more fun. If the weather stays as good as it has been these last few days it will [...et] weather for the weekend.
[I won't] tell you what you are going to have for a corsage. Just wait and you shall see. All I am hoping is that you will like it. Time will tell.
I am sorry that I didn't answer your question in my last letter so I'll try to answer it now. If we go to Boston we can go and see the Museum of Fine Arts. I think that you would find that very interesting. Stanley and I went through it when we were up to my cousin's house. We [can] go and see the Bunker Hill [...] and the old North Church. I'll [tell you] what. If we go to Boston I'll take you up for an airplane ride. Would you like that or not? I have an idea that you would If we should go I am sure that we would find plenty to [do.]
I didn't tell you that [...] Paul Whitman broadcast from WCAF did I? Last Thursday night Maurice, Ralph, my father and myself
whentwent to New York City and seen the broadcast. We were right in the studio and seen the whole thing. It is certainly worth seeing.Paul is quit[e] a bit thinner
tha...than he used to be. He certainly has a good band. O yes he has a very good trumpet player! (O boy O [boy what a] trumpet player)[...] here five o'clock Thurs. night [...] got home at 4.30 Fri. morning[.] I was slightly tired Sat. but I [am] full of pep now.
Maurice drove down and I drove home. We left New York at [...t] we arrived home at 4:30 [...d] before. That isn't too bad time is it 2 1/2 hrs. from New York. You and I have to go to New York some Sun. this summer.
My hours are always changed aro[und.] I don't know one week to the next what my hours will be. Right now I am working from 12 to 6:30 and Sat [I] work from 8 until I get though. [sic] Last Sat [it] was nearly nine before I got finished. Things are going along pretty well right now I hope they will continue.
I will probably have to work all day Wed, Thurs. and I [...] work Fri. morning. O how I wish [time] would hurry until Fri.
