A Letter written on Dec 13, 1935

[The letter is badly water stained, and some words have been lost. My guesses are in brackets.]

Fri PM

Hello dear:

I was awfully glad to get your [letter] yesterday afternoon. I was [glad] to hear that you got in [early] enough so that you wouldn't have to pay a big fine.

I'll be up tomorrow afternoon. I'll be up around three oclock [sic] if [I don't have] any trouble.

[I haven't] seen your mother yet [but] I'll see her before I come tomorrow and I'll get your knitting and ask her about their coming up to the concert.

I think I am going to take my father to the doctor tomorrow today instead of tomorrow because his arm doesn't look so good today. I hope that it will be alright.

I'd better get this letter [off if I] want you to get it.

Until tomorrow

Love
Tom.
