A Letter written on Mar 18, 1936

Wed. A.M.

Hello my darling:

Isn't this a nice rain storm we are having. My mother met me at the shop and I was glad because I didn't like the idea of walking home in all this rain.

I didn't get a chance to write yesterday because I went into Hartford yesterday morning and I slept until the last minute in the afternoon. There wasn't anything to be had yesterday but I think that if I kept going in these every once in a while I could last something.

Things are going pretty fair this week. I have got two nights of piecework in already and I think I shall be getting some more. All of this means more money and that is what I want.

Eddie has a store in Torrington now. It is on Migeon Ave by the school. I think he will be a lot better off here when he gets started. I think he and Grace had a little spat I don't know how it is coming out yet.

I see you Fri between one and one thirty is that OK with you. Honestly I can hardly wait until then. I guess you've got me completely under your spell.

All my love
Tom
