A Letter written on Apr 3, 1936

Fri. A.M.

Hello my love:

It certainly snowed like old fury when I came home the other night. I got into Torrington at just 12:30. Not bad time considering I had to make the detour. Didn't have any trouble finding my way back. You'll have to excuse my writing because I can't write well with my hand bandaged. I suppose you are in the midst of your stud[y]ing by now. You know what you have to study so just do it and I know you wont [sic] have anything to worry about. I'll be thinking of you all the time and I'll be pulling for you and wish you the best of luck in the test.

I stayed with Ed last night and came home and took my farth father and brother to work. I think I'll clean up the garage and do some work around the house today. I hope I go to work Mon. Let you know what happens first of the week I'll be up to see you just as soon as possible[.]

I miss you terribly[.]

All yours
Tom.
