Dear Julia

How do you do I write to you as a New Years presant. I did not write much because I did not have time. I got a new dress a hankerchief some candie some raisons two aprons an image an orange some paper dogs. How do you like your room mate. It is noon and I can not write much I go to school evry [sic] day I hope you like. I hope I shal not have to write with this old led pencil any more but I shall have to. Mister Galloop has forbidden the boys too throw snowbales. I must close for I have got the head hake and I am very tired. So good bie write soon.
