A Letter written on May 26, 1932

Dr. Med. Fru M. Krogh,
Juliane Mariesvej 34
Kjøbenhavn Ø.
Nora 5090 (12 1/2 - 1 1/2).

26-5-32.

My dear Dr. Turner.

Very many thanks for your kind and interesting letter of 9/5. I may confess that I feel very much ashamed of not having written to you long, long ago and thanks you heartily for the kind greetings and xmas presents. I have enjoyed the book "Laughing Boy" which seems to give a good picture of the life and strange customs of the Indians.

When I am doing my laboratory exercises between 10 and 10.30 in the evenings I always miss you so very much for a little talk. The two German zoologists working in the laboratory this year are nice people but, I am sorry to say, they and I dont [sic] have much community of interests as basis of an evening conversation.

Dr. Ophels [?] and I have just sent two abstracts of communications to Internat. Congress but - as you - we are still a little uncertain about going there.

We are looking forward to see you and your friend Dr. Charlotte Haywood on June 30. If it would be convenient for you to take lunch here we should be happy to see you at 12.

With the most heartily greetings from my husband and children

very [sic] sincerely yours
Marie Krogh.
