A Letter written on Nov 16, 1892

Blandford_ Mass.
Nov. 16. 1892.

Dear friends:-

I expect to see you next Saturday afternoon at Stafford. I am not sure just what time I shall be there but probably at 2.31. Flora will be with me. I had a postal from George this noon; he thinks he will come home the 23rd. I think we shall manage to have a pretty enjoyable time. I also had a letter from Brimfield this noon. Mrs. Russell is very low.

I wonder if it has rained at Union as it has here today. My school was very small today, but I was not very sorry, it is such a relief to be able to draw a long breath in the school-room: it is some thing that I cannot do every day. Mr. Herrick has not visited school yet, and the other day I asked Sadie if he was coming: she said that he said everything was going on all right and there was no use in his coming so long as that was the case.

But I sent him an urgent invitation, for I want to see him. I want to see if he will give me $8.00 per week next term and I want my $56.00, $24. of that goes for board, I suppose -

Only two more days and I shall be with you! Goodby till then -

Susie.
