Rev. Harvey M. Lawson
Southbridge, Mass.Dear Mr. Lawson:
I want to write a few words for myself to put in with my wife's letter to you. We shall miss your sister very much. It is to me personally cause for regret that I was not here when your sister was stricken. She liked to have her home here, for one reason, I think, because she was near a physician. Then two days after I left for vacation she was stricken. Not only shall we miss her as our nearest neighbor and as one of our warmest and truest friends, but many mountain people whom she befriended and helped will miss her sorely and especially the young people whom she helped to college. I want to express my sympathy to you and to the rest of Mrs. McCrea's family in your loss.
Sincerely yours,
Robert F. Thomas
