A Letter from Lester Russell
to Carrie Gowing
Aug 14, 1905

West Derry N.H.
August 14, 1905.
Dear friends:

Chester and I have decided to spend a week at Gumpus Pond, if we can make arrangements. Would it be too much to ask you to engage a house on the pond for us we do not want to pay more than five ($5) for it. Any kind of a shack will do us that we could keep dry in if it should rain, we probably would like to go the middle of next week. There I will stop not to write more for I must write to Chester,

Ever your friend,
Lester Russell
