A Letter from Lester Russell
to Carrie Gowing
Jun 11, 1907

June 11, 1907.

Dear Carrie:-

I was sorry to get your answer to my invitation, and I now ask you to reconsider the case and answer in the oposite [sic] way. If you think there is any danger of taking the mumps I could get you and Mary a room at Mr. Hows which I could be very glad to do if you would come and attend the concert, the mumps will have about all disappeared by that time, and I relly think there is very little danger of either of you taking them. By the way I shall be very glad to have you preserve one of those tickets for me if you will have enough to go the rounds.

Your friend,
Lester W. Russell.
