Nov. 6, 1904Dear Carrie, -
I think that I have waited about long enough for a letter from you so I think I will try to nudge your memory a little. I want you to write to me before you come home at thanksgiving [sic] do you hear. I think both you and Helen are just terrible trrible [sic] terrible you don't write to me at all here you have been gone eight weeks and you haven't writ to me but only just once and doan't like it a little bit at all do ye hear. I think you have forgitted me entirely do ye hear. Well I guess I have scolded you enough for this time but mind you if you don't mend your ways I will give you more another. Uncle Charles has got home I don't know what day but it was some day last week he was at church today. Albert Jones and his new wife were at church too. There is a contest going on in sunday school it is divided in two sides each class is half on one side and half on the other Lena Cloyd is the leader on one side and Armine Marsh on the other the two sides are called the reds and the blues Lena is the leader on the blue side and Armine on the red I am red and so are all of us except Uncle George Lena told me I was no good because I was on the red side[.] The red side have little red bows and the blue side little blue ones. It counts in the Christian Endeavor society too and as the little class does not belong to the contest
