Dearest darling Jeannette:-

Your cards were rec'd this morning with great pleasure, and I am so glad you are enjoying the remainder of your vacation. (That should be in the past tense now, I suppose)

JI felt so sorry for you dearie, to think that I had to "renig" (RENIG) Sunday. Feel better to-day, but my throat is still sore. Went right home last night and took citrate of magnesia, gargled, and was in bed about nine P.M. I bet you did'nt do as well as that.

To-night I am going to Zonta to vote and right home. Am not staying for dinner. Just do'nt feel like hanging around. Am a lot better, dearie, so please don't worry.

Have'nt much news, and want to leave early enough to buy a stamp down stairs. Will write you in detail soon. No Ans. from all those letters yet. Let me know dearie if I can help you in any way about (with) your prom things.

Oodles of love. Millions of kisses, and oceans of hugs -
Muddikins

I can't take time to fill in all the Space, O! dear!
