"Tee-Kay Book Shoppe".Dearest darling Lambikins:-
In order that you might see your handiwork am writing on this letter of Freda's. Does'nt it read well?
Was so thrilled to get your letters (two) to-day. Is your shoulder sagging under my weight? I am living this wonderful time with you, and hope every thing just turns out the way you anticipate it shall.
If Dick does'nt send flowers, I shall be disappointed. You would have them if your muddikins had anything to do with it. Would'nt you, dearie?
Can you imagine those (I don't know what I was going to say.) Mrs. Moore just phoned. Leonard is in the City Hos. Has Scarlet fever. Too bad, is'nt it. Mrs Moore felt so badly yesterday morn. She cried on the phone. Feels better to-day. He has been so run down all winter and had a serious case of sinus trouble. I sent him a cute card yesterday, with a few bars of "Mosquito Parade" on it. Mrs. Moore said he was so pleased. After your festivities are over send him a card in c/o City Hospital.
Do'nt worry about the money. Use all you need. Your outfit sounds intriguing. And the men! My! My! I know what I was going to say. Can you imagine those girls missing "Prom". It's unbelievable. Would'nt I just adore seeing that grand march? I will tho' from my reserve seat, on your shoulder. Don't jiggle me off.
Is Dick a college man?
This is a poor excuse of a letter, but I wanted to write you a line. I may see you soon. Saw "Love Parade" last night. It was adorable. Jeannette McDonald is charming.
I saved those Arbutus, but they're withered. Am sending them anyway.
Its [sic] been so hot here to-day. We had a thunder storm too, but I'm here to tell the tale.
Oodles of love and billions of kisses
"Muddikins".I appreciate your writing me so much especially when I know how busy you are.
Love to Irene.
