My Dearest darling:-

What a precious lambikins! Those gardenia's [sic] were exquisite, and I wore them all day. I really can't thank you enough but only in the same tradional [sic] manner tell you again "you done too much."

Will and Clara drove from Buffalo Sat. Jane & A. met me at 12.30 D.L. and we went right to Wheeler. Mama was so tired.

Sunday we went to church with her and Jane had dinner ready for us when we got up to her house. The camera was kept busy again, and Billy had his first pictures taken. He is so cute. Will and Clara made quite a fuss over him. They left shortly after dinner and Jane went to H.S. to rehearse for play. A & I went down with her and looked on for a time.

Mama was so pleased with her letter, which came before church. It cheers her up a lot. She is growing so thin, and is morbid. Acts so much the way I did. I feel so sorry for her.

Well, I am planning on coming up this wk-end if nothing happens. Just how, I do not know. Wanted to come last wk, but am glad I spent the day with mama. Must find out about trains. Think I shall leave Fri. A.M. and go your way. Must'nt stay at Holyoke too long, as it is nearing finals and you must be busy.

If I had'nt promised myself to go at least once a year would renig, but then too, I must see this "Dick" person, who is trying to win my child. Is'nt that something to look forward too? [sic]

Bill Rhodes is working for a barber on Front St. He shook hands with me the other day and asked for you.

Am sending you some interesting clippings. Well dearie it is nearly six P.M. and I must ring off. Will write you again and tell you when I'm coming.

Thanx for your good letter, darling, and those boo'ful posies.

Oodles of love and millions of kisses
Muddikins.

Please excuse haste.
