Dearest darling "Junior":-
Your thrilling letter came this morning and I will endeavor to ans. it before some one comes in. Have been very busy to-day, everyone reading over the Holidays. This place is anxiously awaiting the arrival of the "librarian" It's so dusty around. O! dear! n everything" [sic]
I am so proud of you dearie, and think your marks and comments were wonderful. Why do you have to leave your papers? Do you ever get them back? Or do they destroy them as they did in High School?
What is Irene taking up in Summer School? Is'nt it wonderful that her sister has a fine position? Next year at this time you will be getting ready for your exit into the world. I hope to be with you tho'. Won't we have fun?
It is nearly six o'clock and -61- books have gone out. Pretty good for this time of the year. To-morrow being Decoration Day, every one is planning something - I may go to Owego on the 7.15 bus, to-night, but I should stay home and work. O! dear!
I had such a good time in Owego last Sun. Mama came up to Jane's to spend the day. We popped corn and just had a good time. It was so cold.
Can hardly wait for you to come home. Remember we will be on a Schedule after the first few days. I want to sew, and clean house. Do you think you will like that? We get along pretty well don't we? I am so hungry for home cooking. Just starved too [sic] it. How about you?
Must close darling, cash up and go to supper. This is such a short letter, but we'll make up soon for everything.
Oodles of love and billions of kisses
from your darling
