Sat. 7 P.M.Dearest darling:-
Just a line to let you know how much I appreciate your very prompt letters. Also want to thank you for your check, which I deposited this morning.
Will you send me the Am'ts of your earnings each wk. you have been there so I can post them in my little book? Or do you mind.
Am enclosing a letter from Mrs. Pease and kindly advise, and return. [no longer with this letter]
Marj phoned yesterday and decided to have Billy come over this wk-end. He came about two yesterday. We did Fowler's toy shop for about 2 1/2 hrs. and five & dime. Had dinner home and stayed in all evening. Took him out this morning to see Mickey Mouse & Santa. Very nice parade. But was it cold? Went to Fowler's and were nearly crushed. Mobs were terrific. Took Billy up to his dad at 12.30 and after I had lunch, went home. Was I all in? It was very tiring. Jane came at 3 P.M. and I went overtown with her. She left at five, and I just took a good nap for myself.
Am playing to-night and after I eat a bite, will have to leave. To-morrow I expect to take it easy.
Mrs. Evans phoned to see if I found the things in the hall. She has intended writing but they have been quite busy with a German book, and its [sic] been very slow work as neither one knows anything about German. She rec'd her bag alright.
Was that a wooden dish? You said blue. It was'nt. This one is part of that Watkins Glen dish. Let me know, they bro't from V.B.
Well, dearie, this is a short note but will write to-morrow and ans. your letter.
The apartment is so warm to-night. Will we ever find a place with such good heat?
I love you more than I did yesterday. Am glad you are so happy. I'm so thrilled. Oodles of love & kisses
hastily
Muddy.
