A Letter written on Dec 10, 1935

Tuesday, Dec. 10/1935

Dearest darling Sweetheart honey-bunch:-

Rec'd your lovely letter plus list and will try and fill out your instructions to the letter.

Gretchen came yesterday morning and it begins to look like moving. Don't look for me at any definite time, as I am not going to overdo. You will understand I'm sure. Won't you dearie?

Yes, my ribs are all strapped, but please don't hug me too tight as I am so fragile. Ha! Ha! I can stand millions of kisses tho'.

No I would'nt bother with Ins. You have enough and it would be a burden to carry more.

I never shed a tear over "The Dark Angel". Am I hard boiled? Poor dearie. Who did you cry over? Do you remember Vilma Banky and R. Colman in the film? I liked it better. Perhaps it's me. Of course I love Herbie!

The family want [sic] us here for Xmas, but I think I would rather be with you. I wonder why. Please forgive this brief note, as I am writing under trying circumstances. An event I will say. Glaubel du das?

Have'nt sold anything yet. I guess I will have to come down in my price. Wish I knew about dresser. Don't think I shall take it, as it does'nt match the suite.

Am glad you are having such good times. My Xmas. present is you and that's all I want. Have you felt me on your shoulder? I feel you in my ear, tickling it, and telling me to carry on. What would I do 'bout you. Is your ear better? Phoned your dad, or had An stop and tell him to come over. Will give him the clock.

All my love and trillions of kisses from your
darlingest
Muddikins/

Gretchen sends love and is glad you like your work. Please excuse haste. I'm too too o!
