My dearest darling Jeannette:-

Dr. Andrews. played me a mean trick. He took my six remaining toofies out this morning. All my wobly [sic] ones. Now I have two more to come out on the lower jaw and that disagreeable job is done.

Feel very good considering. Of course the front teeth are more sensitive, but they are all thru bleeding and I am going to have some nice vegetable soup for supper Marge has made for me. She put meat & everything thru the grinder.

Dr. Andrews tho't I was a model patient and says I will probably get fat now. Phew! Says my health will be much better.

O! I'm so glad that's over with! The dread was worse than the experience, which is always the case.

Marge, Anthony, Dr. and nurse say they would hardly know I had them out. Is'nt that great? See all the fun your [sic] missing!

Jane came up Sat. while I was at Mrs. Moore's and took Billy back with her. On account of the snow-storm Sun. Bill Bailey didn't come or go to Owego so Jane had to bring Billy back Monday. I was still at Moore's and no one phoned. Guess she was sore because I was'nt here as she wanted me to shop with her. What helpless people, when all she had to do was phone.

Marge still has a cough and looks very thin. Think she should take a good tonic.

My cold is better, or I should say my cough. Only cough a little when I get up or go in cold. My side is fine.

I suppose your mail is in Owego but Jane will forward it. Am going to wait until the Dentist is thru with the preliminaries and then I shall go to Owego.

He took an impression of my teeth before he took them out, so the new ones will look as much like mine as possible.

Hope you will know me, when you see me, but the corners of my mouth still turn up. Do you love me just the same? Would'nt have written you about this, but wanted you to know how much nearer I am to Hempstead. I am very anxious!

Please, please, don't worry. The worst is over and my face feels great. Honest. I can still kiss you honey, and I am sending Xillions, darling
Muddy.

Anthony, and Marge send love. Very kind.

We dare have love birds or anything. Can't we dearie?
