"At Home"Jeannette darling:-
Your letter was so sweet! Thank you so much. Have been so negligent again, but have been so busy.
Sat. night it was ten o'clock when I closed shop. Altho' I only sent out 89 books, many came in, and with new books to stick, was all in. Ate about 10.45 P.M.
Sun. I slept until 11 A.M. Your dad helped me, and after a tub went over to Cecil's. Cecil's brother died Sat. P.M. She called me as soon as it happened. She was very fond of Grover, and will miss him a lot. Later I went over to Marj's. Billy is cutting teeth and does'nt feel so good. He is so darling. Grace was away. I stayed until 11.30. Anthony was very nice. (He is improving so much as an announcer. In fact he is the best so they all tell him at the station.[)]
Have been busy to-day. Jane was up. Did'nt see her, but she called up later from Owego about flowers for Cecil. She was at Mama's and they both talked.
Am glad you liked your "Musical Message of Love"[.] It might have been better, but I hurried it. That last (night) line is "Love me, and the world is Mine." Remember. Perhaps that goes back too far.
Your father is mailing this and I am going out for air, and to see how Billy is to-night.
Will write again soon. All my love and billions of kisses
Muddikins.
Love to Irene and girls.
