11 A.M.My dearest Jeannettekins:-
You biz a naughty girl! Why did'nt you tell me the girls were going away, so I could have helped you plan a week-end. Did you have the opportunity of going home with any of them? I felt just like sending you a wire last night, but my "toofies" were aching and O! dear! dear! I just did'nt. Can't you do something now? I love you so much dearie, and your [sic] such a darling girl that I just want you to have some pleasure. A week end trip to New York would have been so interesting. We will have lots of good times, won't we dearie, some day.
You've worked so hard on those old exams! Well they're over by this time.
My extra shelf is on and the books are back. It looks so much better, and now we will fix the others.
Business is real good, and getting better all the time. Mrs. Lowe is talking in my ear (on the phone.) all about her ailments. Its [sic] all over now. Ha! Ha!
Tues. night I went over to Marj's for supper and stayed. Grace and I tried to get Fritz, but we did'nt have any luck. Went to bed at 3 A.M. Anthony acts so disgusted with life. Billy is growing so cute.
Am mailing the college bill and you be sure and make it out, right away. Keep your receipt or lower part, and right [sic] on bottom put. Pd - date - and no. of check. You can return it, or keep with your things. Must draw other money out so you can have it to use.
Mr. Schmeiske said, that for $5.00 Gruen's should do a lot. You might write them about scratches on dial, and ask for a gaurantee. [sic] Tell them again emphatically that the watch was never satisfactory, regardless of condition it was supposed to have been in when sold.
Glad you liked my small contribution. Must close darling. Oodles of love, and billions of kisses
from your darling
Muddikins.
