Dearest Sweetheart:-

Monday noon! I am with you in spirit all day and hoping you are making the best impression not only with your work but also your personality.

After I finished your note last eve we met another Hamlin clerk (the blonde girl) who lives at Bennett and she treated us to a beverage.

I put in quite a day, did'nt I? "Diamond Jim" was so good, and he was so lovable in the picture.

O! I am so anxious to hear from you. Can hardly wait. Did you have a nice time with the girls? Was'nt it a lovely day?

Am going over town to pay rent, gas, light & phone bills. Bank your check etc. Then I may come home and clean the apartment. I don't know. It's so dusty. Wrote Mrs. Pease this morning and will write Will after I hear from you.

Mrs. White has been up this morning to make her call.

I sleep fine and hope you do too. Please don't cover your head, will you? Get lots of rest and eat, eat, eat. Get weighed, so that you can see how much you gain.

Helen phoned just now and wants me to go to see "O'Shaughnessy's Boy" this P.M. So I've weakened.

I love you so very very much, dearie, and some day I shall prove it to you again, when I try to make your life easier & happier. Your [sic] so wonderful.

You will think of me every time you see those missing snaps. Ha! Ha!

Oodles of kisses &
Millions of hugs,
Your old fuss budget
Muddy
