3-10-36Dearest darling Sweetie-Pie :-
Your last letter was such a comfort - so nice and intimate like. I loved it beaucoup. This is just a note - I am sleepy and have been putting off everything lately. It must be spring fever. Aunt Jane is so good to you. Am afraid we are terribly indebted to everyone. They have been so nice to us. Think what a treat they're having, being around you!
Aunt Jane forwarded the bill from Dr. McNitt.
I had a surprise in church Sunday. Anna Howell, who lived in Mead senior year, sat right behind me. Was so surprised! She teaches way out on L.I. and is only home weekends. She & her mother live here. They brought me home from church to see where I live.
You have done very well with the bills. Are you spending enough on yourself? We will soon have to have spring coats, you especially. Don't forget!
You and I understand each other perfectly, don't we, Muddikins? I'll remember that you are on my shoulder and that you are chasing all my troubles away. And I'll chase all yours away, like Flit. Am reading proof in the copy office so that someone will be there.
The Sandman is coming and is 'prinkling. I love you heaps and bushels and tons. Don't you take cold either. I wish you could have gone to Zonta. Poor momee!
I hope your (teeth) gums are feeling better. Don't do anything to hurt them. How glad you will be to have teeth again.
Lotions of love to my Owego correspondent from your Hempstead Cor., who has always known but can't realize how lucky she is to have the only Tillikums in the whole world!
