A Letter written around Apr 3, 1936

[Written on a partial page from the book "John Hay from Poetry to Politics" by Tyler Dennett]

E-e-e-e. Queaks. Would I love to see you! If you came we could get our clothes and perhaps look for an apt. What do you think? Of course I'd love to have you come, but are you sure you'd come back again after having seen me once?

Am enclosing note and check. [no longer with the letter] Don't think I should come home anyway, do you?
