A Letter written on Apr 7, 1936

Hasty note written in restaurant. Oh! dear - 3 more days!

Tues. p.m.

Dearest Mother -

Am I excited! Of course I want you to come! If I came could only stay 2 days, whereas you could stay 3 weeks. And there is alot we could do.

Am enclosing Y.W. address near 8th Ave. & 12th st. Double room $1.50. If you dont [sic] know better place we could sty there. If you made reservations it would be safer. E-E-E!

Can't get into Penn. Sta. before 5:45 Friday p.m. If you arrive after that I can meet you. I can be over at the Y.W. by 6. p.m. by subway if you'd rather I'd meet you there, if you arrive before I can meet you.

If you change plans & come to L.I. get Hempstead train from Penn Sta. - L.I. section. You may have to change at Jamaica. Staying all night in N.Y. would save time and probably money in the end.

The large wardrobe trunk arrived. Was that the right one? Thank you so much.

Did you get your suit? Get lots of rest.

Couldn't you tell I wanted you to come? Your letter was darling, and the music better even than old times. I hope 'll never be sorry I'm your "one basket"! I love you!!! Will I be seeing you? I hope so. Let me know when, where etc. Bushels & heaps of love & kisses -

Jeanie.

There are excursion tickets & 30 days' tickets - round trip.

Love to all.
