A Letter written on Jul 1, 1919

My dear Professor Turner,

Your note on Dr. Richards is greatly appreciated. She has been doing very good work and her success is due largely to these characteristics which you mention: a very direct mode of attack and spirited expression. Certainly a great advance beyond the somewhat cut-and-dried sketch of her work some years ago. Her strength lies in the concrete.

I remember with great pleasure the day I spent at Holyoke last year. I am going over the same topic again just now and may send you an improved edition some time!

With my best regards,
Very sincerely yours
Adolf Meyer
