My dear Miss Walton:-

I have received from the College Entrance Examination Board a list of the subjects in which you are to take tests and I find that you have registered for German bc (intermediate and advanced). If you are taking this subject to fulfil [sic] our maximum requirement, the examinations which you should pass are a (elementary) and b (intermediate).

Only one period of History is necessary for entrance, although you may take the examination in both English and American if you desire.

Please see page 26 of our catalogue for the present year.

Very truly yours,
Caroline B. Greene.
