Rev. Dr. William M. Nesbit
230 Portsea Street
New Haven, Conn.My own dear little girl;--
We arrived home safe and sound. It took us three hours as the going was slow. The visibility was poor, but very little fog. Had services as usual yesterday. Church was full and so was my class. The Epworth League were glad when we told them that you would be at the party on Friday Night. We were busy to-day, looking for the bill for the Sevre vases but we could not find it. It is over 50 years old and was probably destroyed. Papa is going to the Waterbury Stamp Club to-night and will post this in Waterbury. We certainly had a fine time on Sat. I was going to the Movies in Waterbury to-night but it is pouring rain and I do not want to get hoarse. I hope you have a good time with your exam. to-morrow. Do you remember when you began Latin? You said "I will never be able to do this Latin". And you surely made a fine success of it. We are changing the bills etc. from teh downstairs desk to the one upstairs. We will use this desk for writing letters etc. Mr. Swan came and fixed the Radio, that is for the time being. He said the control that they sent him was faulty and he has sent for another. But we hear real well. I suppose it will be fixed by the Summer vacation. I am delighted to know that you have three week ends, I had counted on only two. Real cold weather is coming. Well I will close, Papa is ready to go.
Good-night, God bless you,
Mamma.Monday Evening.
