Rev. Dr. William M. Nesbit
230 Portsea Street
New Haven, Conn.Wee wee lassie;-
Mama and I cast our votes on Tuesday -- and subsequently found out that they really did some good. The Republicans elected all the state officials from Governor down - also the Senator -- and changed the Representatives from 6 Democrats to 4 Republicans and 2 still in doubt. And the whole country seems to have joined the procession. We listened to the returns until after 4 A.M. Were we jubilatious! So yesterday, when Mama went to Dr. Devereaux', we celebrated. We saw "Suez" with Tyrone Power, Loretta Young and Annabelle (?) Also we ate lobster (at 65¢ each).
We stopped at Panikoff's and got your jewels -- and took other measures so that you also would partake of the celebration. So watch the mail.
I am having some job, finding a ventilator of the right dimensions. What is the exact width of the window?
Wouldn't it be nice -- at the present moment -- to have a dictaphone in Somebody's room in Hyde Park and connected with a microphone -- so that we could hear the gnashing of teeth!
With lotions of love --
Your ever affectionate parents,
