My own dear little girl;--

Everything is busy. I can hardly sit me down to write. Thanksgiving is certainly wonderful. Received The [sic] lovely Birthday present and the card and it certainly was an eye-opener for the Special Delivery boy comes at 7.20 and knocks as if he intended to get in and he does. It cam beautifully and doesn't it smell good! I am going to make some sachets like I used to have in the good old days before the depression. The turkey is in the Ice-box and the fixings are ready to be put inside. Mr. Swan has gotten a new control for the radio and that goes in to-morrow. I surely am excited. We have Sunday-school Board to-night but I am going to fix the turkey and Papa will report what happens. To-morrow night is the first Quarterly Conference. We rec'd your postal this morning. We will be at College at one P.M. Glad to take Catherine down with us.

Will close mow [sic], Papa is ready to put this in the mail. So glad to get mail.

Love from the four of us,
Mamma.
