Dear Mama & Papa,

Hello! Thanks for the card. I got the French paper finished & at the present moment am sitting on top of the world. I had an appointment with Mr. Saintonge today & he said that he was delighted with my progress. He said I have brought my mark up from a C- to a B- and still seem to be improving. I am so delighted with this because I never thought I could come up in French.

Sally is much better today & was allowed to leave the Infirm for a blue book. She went back to spend the night. Stelle came to dinner to night and as neither of us had any special thing to do for to morrow, we played cards & had ourselves a time.

I went to the French movie today after Physics Lab. It was called Les Trois Valzes [sic] & was fine. I began menstruating to day so I'll be O.K. for Christmas. Yea! Yea! I'm looking forward to going home so much. What do you think I should get Sally? What shall I do about the money? (tuition)? It snowed here gain to day. I hope it clears up for next week. Just think - a week from now, I'll be home. Stelle asked me to supper Sunday night.

Love,
Bessie.

P.S.
I'm so excited about the party. It's such a swell idea.
