Dear Mama & Papa,
I have just finished my French exam. It was an excellent exam but I murdered French in writing it. Please excuse the pencil, my pen is dry. I have only one more left. Please be thinking of me. I have about 8 Shakespeare plays to read. The only thing that's keeping me going is the reward of going home afterward.
Thanks ever so much for your letters. The brownies were delicious. You have been so nice to me during my time of trials. Sally is going to Boston this week end. Poor Sally (not a pun) is struggling with the history that I had last year. She put the reading off just as I did. Worse luck/ Oh Boy when I get thru' with this Shakespeare, I'll never want to hear of Shakespeare again. I'll be expecting you at 11 on Friday morning.
Lotions of love,
BessieP.S.
The necklace arrived but I haven't had time to get it.
