Naugatuck, ConnecticutSweetest, sweetest Child:-
Three cheers for you! Mama and I are tickled pink at the good news. Of course I have always had confidence in my child's brains. Congratulations!
We have been terrifically busy ever since your departure. It has been a regular whirl of things. Mama's fleas certainly brought the house down. Herb was a very able assistant. The climax was when he took the "strange flea" back to Mr. Noyes, carefully parted Noye's hair, put the flea in, and patted it down. A little boy several seats away go tso excited that he called out, "Let me see it. Let me see it."
Sat. night the J. Ws met at Umlauf's. [?] Sun. Worby preached and held J. [?] Conf. Then Mama fed him. Did he enjoy it?
Yesterday I made a quick trip to N.Y. Had quite a number of errands. Mama thought I'd get home about 9 or 10. But I walked in at 630 Went to stamp club. Today we have been on the jump, listening to war bulletins. Things surely are happening.
Whenever we think of our Holyoke Hotshot we feel chesty.
