Dear little Girl:

Received your lovely long letter this AM. and were we glad to receive it. I am glad that the things came O.K. from Wanamakers. We have had so many things come from the Stores not as we ordered them - that I was very much relieved. The things I ordered from Wanamakers - are very prosaic - spelt backwards - such as soap - paos. Have been busy up to my eyes all day - made cookies etc. etc. etc. Going to have ice cream with butterscotch sauce - little mints and cookies. I could write on here for a couple of hours - but I have to stop and get back to the supper. Everything is going fine. Wish me luck - for the party to-morrow night.
