Dear Little Girl: Your welcome letter was awaiting Papa and me when we returned home from New Haven. Papa says he hopes to send you some cash in a few days - (a day or two) as soon as he gets his check. It is very cold here to-night so Pop just called in and said I had better not write too long. There is something the matter with the oil burner and we are not able to light it. The trouble will be remedied by Mr. Rogers to-morrow - he is coming to fix it - but to night the house is cold and we are going to bed early to keep warm[.]

Will write more to-morrow.

Good-night - lots of love -
Mamma & Pop
