Greetings to our Favorite Child;-

We have just gotten back from N.H. - where Mama had a session with Dr. D. Then I stopped at the N.H. Hos. and saw Fred. He is back in the Hos. again. You know he had been home for some time. A couple of days ago they took him to N.H. for examination. The drs. found that he seemed to have lost all muscular power in the arm. So they immediately removed the cast - and sure enough the arm was limp; He [sic] could only move the fingers. So they have been giving the arm treatments several times a day - massage, heat etc. and there is some improvement. He showed me that he can move his fingers. Also he is able to turn his hand - a thing he never had done before. The family of course have been terribly worried. Fred has certainly kept up his courage remarkably well.

By the way, don't delay about applying for the college loan. Don't take any chances. It is vital. Do it NOW.

Willkie made a great speech last night.

Must now rush to church to "pep up" the paint-mixers.

Lotions of love,
Pater

Mater
