Dear Bessie,

Was glad to receive your card. Right now I am home with a cold, But intend to go back to work by tomorrow. If everything goes alright I am invited up to Mass. State for the "Winter Carnival" this weekend. I haven't been up there before and it seems good to have you remember me. Hope to see you sometime while there[.]
